Greyson Taylor serves as the Executive Assistant for the Arizona Commission of African American Affairs, where he supports initiatives that empower and uplift Arizona's African American community. A fourth-generation Arizona native, Greyson is passionate about community advocacy and development, combining his professional expertise with a deep commitment to service.

Greyson holds an MBA with an emphasis in Sports Business from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Business from Arizona State University's W. P. Carey School of Business. During his time at ASU, he was a distinguished member of the Sports Business Scholars program, which prepared the top 20 students in the W. P. Carey Sports Business program for leadership roles within the industry.

As a former NCAA Division 1 sprinter, Greyson understands the value of discipline, teamwork, and resilience. He channels this experience into his work as the Director and Co-founder of African American Reconstruction (AAR), an organization dedicated to advancing the African American community through civic engagement, advocacy, and empowerment. Under his leadership, AAR has hosted teen conferences, and community events, awarded scholarships to deserving students, and partnered with esteemed organizations to foster meaningful change. Greyson also applied his passion for community development as a Community Relations and Business Development Contractor for the City of Phoenix, where he collaborated with diverse stakeholders to enhance city-resident relationships and drive economic growth through impactful initiatives.

Greyson also lends his expertise as a part-time assistant track and field coach at Brophy College Preparatory, his alma mater, and is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. His dedication to leadership and service was recognized when he received the National Association of Secretaries of State John Lewis Youth Leadership Award.

Greyson’s work with the Arizona Commission of African American Affairs reflects his enduring commitment to making a positive impact and creating pathways for success in his community.
